UL 3644 Silicone Appliance Wire, 200°C 1000V
UL 3644 is a UL-certified silicone appliance wire rated 1000 V AC, with 150°C and 200°C constructions. It is intended for internal appliance wiring where the wire is totally enclosed, and the required temperature grade should appear on the equipment specification.

UL 3644 wire selection
UL 3644 is a UL-certified silicone appliance wire rated 1000 V AC, with 150°C and 200°C constructions. It is intended for internal appliance wiring where the wire is totally enclosed, and the required temperature grade should appear on the equipment specification.
The dimension table now includes 19 conductor sizes from 30 AWG through 4/0 AWG. The nominal insulation wall changes with conductor size, starting at 0.82 mm for the 30–10 AWG rows. Stranding and finished diameter are shown together, while a separate style thickness schedule covers the wider range up to 1000 kcmil. This separates a finished-wire dimension from the minimum insulation requirement used to define the construction.
When replacing an enclosed appliance lead, check the temperature grade and the available bend space before assuming that another 1 kV silicone wire will fit. The listed constructions use a bend radius of 10 times finished diameter. A different wall schedule can change the terminal entry clearance even when the AWG and voltage rating match.
