UL 5334 & UL 5335 Mica-Glass Wire, 450°C 300/600V
UL 5334 and UL 5335 are UL-certified mica-glass wires for high-temperature internal equipment connections at 450°C. UL 5334 is the 300 V AC construction, while UL 5335 is the 600 V AC construction. Both use a stranded nickel-coated copper conductor, mica-glass insulation and a treated fiberglass braid.

UL 5334 / UL 5335 wire selection
UL 5334 and UL 5335 are UL-certified mica-glass wires for high-temperature internal equipment connections at 450°C. UL 5334 is the 300 V AC construction, while UL 5335 is the 600 V AC construction. Both use a stranded nickel-coated copper conductor, mica-glass insulation and a treated fiberglass braid.
Separate size tables keep the voltage choices clear. UL 5334 dimensions cover 24–14 AWG, and UL 5335 dimensions cover 22–8 AWG. Each row includes strand count, outside diameter, approximate weight and minimum bend radius. These values let a buyer compare the two constructions at a shared AWG without assuming that the thicker voltage construction will fit the same entry or terminal arrangement.
For ovens and similar hot equipment, consider both the hot-zone temperature and the mechanical protection along the wire route. The insulation system needs a supported installation, and the conductor size still depends on the complete circuit and thermal conditions. A 450°C rating alone is not a current-carrying-capacity calculation or a basis for replacing one voltage grade with another.
