UL 5334 & UL 5335 Mica-Glass Wire, 450°C 300/600V
UL 5334 and UL 5335 are UL-certified mica-glass wires for high-temperature internal equipment connections at 450°C. UL 5334 is the 300 V AC construction, while UL 5335 is the 600 V AC construction. Both use a stranded nickel-coated copper conductor, mica-glass insulation and a treated fiberglass braid.

- Temperature: 450°C
- Insulation / covering: mica-glass composite with fiberglass braid
- Size selection: UL 5334: 24–14 AWG; UL 5335: 22–8 AWG in dimension tables
- Certification: UL-certified AWM; UL 758
UL 5334 / UL 5335 wire selection
UL 5334 and UL 5335 are UL-certified mica-glass wires for high-temperature internal equipment connections at 450°C. UL 5334 is the 300 V AC construction, while UL 5335 is the 600 V AC construction. Both use a stranded nickel-coated copper conductor, mica-glass insulation and a treated fiberglass braid.
Separate size tables keep the voltage choices clear. UL 5334 dimensions cover 24–14 AWG, and UL 5335 dimensions cover 22–8 AWG. Each row includes strand count, outside diameter, approximate weight and minimum bend radius. These values let a buyer compare the two constructions at a shared AWG without assuming that the thicker voltage construction will fit the same entry or terminal arrangement.
For ovens and similar hot equipment, consider both the hot-zone temperature and the mechanical protection along the wire route. The insulation system needs a supported installation, and the conductor size still depends on the complete circuit and thermal conditions. A 450°C rating alone is not a current-carrying-capacity calculation or a basis for replacing one voltage grade with another.
See the Specifications tab for the model and size tables. Browse the high-temperature cable range for related constructions. Compare MGT mica-glass wire for the existing 5107/5128 mica-tape product rather than treating the constructions as certified equivalents.
Construction
UL 5334 / UL 5335 uses the following conductor and insulation system. The diagram illustrates the layer sequence; select the conductor construction and covering shown in the required size specification.

| Component | Construction detail |
|---|---|
| Conductor | Stranded 27% nickel-coated copper |
| Insulation | Mica-glass composite |
| Outer covering | Fiberglass braid with high-temperature finish |
Applications
UL 5334 and UL 5335 are used for internal wiring in ovens and similar high-temperature equipment where protected from mechanical abuse. Choose the 300 V or 600 V construction before checking the required conductor size.

UL 5334 / UL 5335 replacement selection
For replacement enquiries, include the existing wire marking and the equipment connection drawing so the conductor, insulation and terminal arrangement can be matched.
