UL 1933 wire selection
UL 1933 is a UL-certified thin-wall PFA wire for internal appliance and electronic equipment connections. The product construction presented here is rated 250°C and 300 V, with a compact insulation wall for small-gauge leads that must fit restricted wiring spaces.
The size table covers 30–20 AWG and includes stranding, conductor diameter, nominal and minimum insulation thickness, finished diameter and conductor resistance at 20°C. A nominal 0.15 mm PFA wall gives finished diameters from 0.56 mm at 30 AWG to 1.25 mm at 20 AWG. Those dimensions help with terminal selection and harness-clearance checks; resistance values help compare lead sizes before an application-specific electrical calculation.
The small finished diameter makes the termination detail particularly important. Match stripping tools to the selected conductor and wall instead of copying settings from a thicker PFA wire. For operation near the upper temperature rating, specify the conductor finish and terminal materials together. PFA insulation alone does not define the performance of the complete connection.
