Festoon Cable for Port Crane
For port crane festoon systems where flat or round cable, trolley travel, EMC screening and power/control routes need review.
PUR-C-HF EMC Festoon Cable
Port Crane / Festoon / Reeling / MV Cable Selection
We manufacture port crane cables and festoon cable for port cranes — reeling, festoon, flat travelling, spreader and medium-voltage cables for STS, RTG, RMG, gantry and ship-to-shore container cranes. Every cable is matched to your crane’s movement, voltage, travel speed and bending radius, then checked for torsion, tensile load and sheath wear before we quote.

PUR-C-HF EMC Festoon CableFor cable reels and reeling drums on cranes, hoists and mobile equipment where torsion, layers and drum diameter define cable life.
NSHTOU 0.6/1kV Reeling CableFor medium voltage crane cable routes from 3.6/6kV to 18/30kV where screening, bending and dynamic operation must be specified.
NTMCGCW11Y MV Crane CableFor medium voltage flat cable crane and heavy-duty travelling cable routes used on container cranes and automated crane systems.
HTC-FP2(S) Crane Travelling CableFor fibre optic reeling cable crane projects where power, data, signalling and high-speed movement are combined in one route.
Medium Voltage Reeling Cable 24FOFor spreader, vertical hanging and collector basket routes where cable weight, direction, tensile load and wind movement matter.
YSLTOE-J Spreader CableFor RTG, RMG, STS and ship-to-shore crane cable routes where outdoor duty, oil, UV, abrasion and long operating cycles are expected.
Anti-Torsion Reeling CableFor hoist, lift and festoon systems where flexible rubber cable, repeated movement and compact installation are the main checks.

Flat festoon cable is the standard for C-rail and trolley systems — it folds cleanly at each loop and packs more cores per track width; see our NGFLGOEU flat festoon cable 300/500V. Round festoon cable suits trolley collectors that hold a round profile. C-rail is the track hardware, not a cable type — send the profile and we match the flat cable to it.

For STS, RTG, RMG and automated container-crane routes, cable life cannot be selected from voltage and conductor size alone. Festoon speed, reeling acceleration, bending radius at the drum and the number of daily cycles decide whether a cable survives its first year. Two cables with identical ratings can differ by years of service life once travel length and cycle count are applied. Before comparing prices, fix the mechanical duty: travel length, travel speed, acceleration, minimum bending radius, drum or trolley geometry, and cycles per day. A cable chosen on rating alone but wrong on fatigue duty is the most common failure we are asked to replace.
It follows the crane's motion. Cranes that pay cable on and off a drum use a reeling cable rated for that drum's bending radius and acceleration; cranes that carry cable on a trolley along a track use a flat festoon cable sized to the C-rail and travel length. Give us the movement mode and we match the family.
Most STS and large RMG cranes run medium-voltage reeling cable, commonly 3.6/6 kV up to 18/30 kV depending on yard supply, with LV control and fibre cores alongside. RTG and gantry festoon runs are usually 0.6/1 kV.
Six things move the price: copper cross-section and quantity, sheath material (PUR, rubber or PVC), screening and armour, voltage class, the certification range required, and order quantity. Send the crane route and length and we return an itemised quotation rather than a list price.
Yes. Send the C-rail and trolley profile with the core count and we build the flat festoon cable to fit the collector, including custom core arrangements for combined power, control and fibre.
Yes. Send a drawing, sample or the target standard and duty, and we quote a build to it. Custom constructions are our normal work, not an exception.
