NTSCGEWTOEUS Cable for Heavy Mining Equipment

The TEBAOFLEX (N)TSCGEWTOEUS reeling cable is a medium-voltage flexible rubber cable designed for drum reeling systems, mining machines, tunneling equipment, excavators, cranes, and other mobile power supply applications. It is built for high mechanical stress, torsional movement, repeated winding and unwinding, and harsh underground or open-pit operating conditions.
Detailed Cable Construction (Based on VDE Standards)
Manufactured strictly according to VDE 0250 Part 812 and VDE 0295, the structural integrity of this mining cable ensures zero downtime. The layers include:
- Conductor: Electrolytic, stranded, tinned copper wire (DIN VDE 0295 Class 5) for high flexibility.
- Conductor Shield: Semi-conductive tape.
- Insulation: Premium 3Gl3 type EPR compound.
- Insulation Shield: Semi-conductive tape.
- Earth Conductor: Class 5 tinned copper conductor.
- Rubber Filler / Central Filler: Semi-conductive compound on a textile polyester support.
- Inner Sheath: GM1b Type EPR Compound.
- Reinforcement: Kevlar braided reinforcement layer (Embedded braid made of anti-torsion synthetic threads).
- Outer Sheath: 5GM5 Type elastomer/rubber PCP. Highly visible Red color.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. Why is the outer sheath of this reeling cable red?
The highly visible red PCP (Polychloroprene) outer sheath is an industry standard for medium-voltage NTSCGEWTOEUS cable in mining and tunneling. It ensures workers and machine operators can easily spot the high-voltage lines in dark, muddy, or dusty environments, significantly reducing the risk of accidental severing by heavy equipment.
2. How does the Kevlar reinforcement improve performance?
In dynamic applications, a reeling drum constantly winds and unwinds the cable, creating severe twisting forces (torsion). The embedded braid of anti-torsion synthetic threads (Kevlar) absorbs these forces (up to +/- 25°/m), preventing the internal copper cores from snapping and prolonging the cable’s lifespan immensely.
3. Can your factory supply this cable with Fiber Optic cores?
Yes. TEBAOFLEX can customize the NTSCGEWTOEUS cable to include integrated fiber optic cores for simultaneous high-voltage power transmission and real-time data monitoring for modern automated excavators.
