NSHXOEU-O / NSHXOEU-J is one combined 0.6/1 kV flexible mining-cable page covering the O single-core and J multi-core configurations. The supplied VDE datasheet positions the family for underground mining, tunnel building, open-cast mining, quarries, construction sites and industrial routes with medium mechanical stress. It describes finely stranded tinned copper conductors to DIN VDE 0295 and IEC 60228, 3GI3 EPR insulation, core identification by colour or black numbering, a GM1B inner sheath for multi-core cables and a yellow 5GM3 outer sheath. The source lists 3 kV main-core testing, 90 °C conductor operation, 250 °C short-circuit temperature, fixed service from −40 °C to +90 °C, fully flexible service from −25 °C to +90 °C and a maximum water temperature of 40 °C. NSHXOEU-O and NSHXOEU-J construction

Both use finely stranded tinned copper, 3GI3 EPR insulation and a 5GM3 yellow outer sheath; the source specifies a GM1B inner sheath for multi-core construction and identifies the core arrangement by core count.
