(N)TS-TGSH for Medium-Voltage Hot-Water Pump Connections
(N)TS-TGSH is a 3.6/6 kV round, halogen-free cable for hot-water pump connections and immersed electrical equipment under medium mechanical stress. Its construction combines Class 5 tinned copper conductors, an inner semiconductive rubber field-control layer, SIR silicone rubber insulation and an EVA outer sheath. An EPDM inner sheath is used where included in the selected construction.
The medium-voltage connection needs coordinated electrical and mechanical preparation. Match the motor circuit and termination to the actual core arrangement, insulation system and inner field-control layer. Include the pump-entry drawing, available sealing length and termination space when specifying a replacement cable.
Plan the route around the selected finished diameter. Fixed supported sections and flexible sections have separate bend requirements, so allow adequate space at wellheads, glands and changes of direction. Provide independent cable supports and use the pump’s designated lifting equipment. Select the required protective conductor from the motor connection drawing.
The conductor-temperature limit applies to the current-carrying conductor. State the actual water composition, treatment chemicals, immersion conditions and installed length for the project assessment. Immersion depth and the permitted water-temperature limit are confirmed for the specified project. Use this construction in non-hazardous locations.

Construction
Select the core count, protective-conductor arrangement and inner-sheath construction for the pump connection. The inner semiconductive rubber layer provides electrical field control.

| Element | Construction |
|---|---|
| Conductor | Class 5 finely stranded tinned copper. |
| Electrical field control | Inner layer of semiconductive rubber compound on the power conductors. |
| Core insulation | SIR silicone rubber. |
| Core identification | Numbering; G configurations include a green/yellow protective conductor. |
| Inner sheath | EPDM rubber where included in the selected construction. |
| Outer sheath | EVA rubber compound. |
| Metallic screen | Unscreened family construction. |
| Shape | Round. |
Applications
Medium-voltage power connections to hot-water pumps and immersed equipment in industrial, agricultural, indoor and outdoor supported installations under medium mechanical stress.

| Selection point | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Voltage and termination | Coordinate the 3.6/6 kV motor circuit, inner field-control layer and termination preparation with the equipment drawing. |
| Entry fit | Specify the finished diameter, seal range, strain relief and space for the termination. |
| Bending and support | Reserve 6 × maximum diameter for fixed routes and 10 × maximum diameter for flexible sections. Support the cable independently from the pump lifting system. |
| Conductor and water temperatures | Use the conductor-temperature limit for the electrical loading assessment; confirm the project’s water conditions separately. |
| Water chemistry | State water composition and treatment chemicals for material selection. |
| Location restriction | Not for explosion-hazardous areas. |
