Li-09YSCH PiMF-100 Data Connections for Submersible Pumps
Li-09YSCH PiMF-100 is a 100/100 V screened data cable for pumps with integrated sensors and monitoring equipment in contaminated water under medium mechanical stress. Four signal pairs combine foam-skin polypropylene insulation, individual aluminium-coated foil screens and an overall tinned-copper braid inside an XL copolymer sheath.
The paired construction keeps each signal circuit identifiable through the pump entry and control cabinet. The Cat. 5 transmission reference corresponds to Class D channel characteristics up to 100 MHz. Select the complete data connection with the controller interface, connector layout and installed length; maintain the pair assignment and twist through the termination.
- Match the data circuit: provide the sensor interface, pair allocation, impedance requirement and connection drawing.
- Plan both screen levels: coordinate the individual pair foils and overall braid with the equipment’s termination design.
- Design the wet-to-dry transition: select the cable-entry seal, supported bend and dry enclosure connection together.
Specify motor-power and data circuits separately, including their routing and entry arrangements. Effective screening requires good braid contact to ground at both cable ends. Use the separate fixed and flexible bend factors, and support the cable independently of the pump lifting system. Include water chemistry, cleaning media and installed length with the enquiry. Immersion depth and the permitted water-temperature limit are confirmed for the specified project.

Construction
The PiMF arrangement screens each of the four signal pairs individually. One common tinned-copper braid surrounds the complete paired assembly.

| Parameter | Value or condition |
|---|---|
| Cable form | Round four-pair assembly: eight insulated signal conductors. |
| Conductor | Tinned finely stranded copper, Class 6 according to DIN EN 60228. |
| Core insulation | Foam-skin polypropylene (PP). |
| Pair identification | White/orange–orange, white/green–green, white/brown–brown and white/blue–blue. |
| Pair screens | Each pair has its own aluminium-coated foil screen. |
| Overall screen | Tinned-copper wire braid around the four screened pairs. |
| Outer sheath | Cross-linked copolymer (XL copolymer). |
| Pair | Core colours |
|---|---|
| Pair 1 | White/orange and orange |
