NTSCGCWOEU Single-Core Cable for Floating PV Shore Connections
NTSCGCWOEU is a 12/20 kV single-core flexible medium-voltage cable for shore connections from floating photovoltaic installations. It combines a Class 5 tinned-copper conductor, semiconductive EPR field-control layers, special EPR insulation, a water-resistant EPR inner sheath, a concentric tinned-copper wire screen and a special rubber outer sheath.
Plan the shoreline as a connected set of mechanical and electrical interfaces. The cable leaves a floating structure, passes through a supported water route and reaches fixed equipment on land. Independent strain relief, abrasion protection and controlled bend space keep mooring loads and concentrated movement away from the electrical connection.
The seven listed configurations identify the conductor and concentric-earth arrangement together. Compare the minimum and maximum finished diameters with the gland range, and use the cable mass when planning landing supports. Coordinate the wire-screen termination and bonding scheme with the complete single-core phase layout and fault-duty assessment.
For electrical selection, use the resistance, capacitance and current-reference conditions alongside the route length and installation drawing. Fixed and flexible sections have different bend requirements. The conductor-temperature limit applies to the electrical conductor; immersion depth and the permitted water temperature are confirmed for the project.
For NTSCGCWOEU material selection, review plain and tinned copper conductors; for NTSCGCWOEU applications, explore the industrial cable range.
Construction
The single-core assembly uses a concentric wire screen and a separate inner and outer sheath. Coordinate the wire-screen termination and bonding design with the complete phase circuit.

Applications
Medium-voltage water routes and floating photovoltaic shore connections with mechanical exposure, supported transitions and controlled movement between floating and fixed equipment.

| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Floating PV power export | Route medium-voltage power between the floating installation and shore-side equipment. |
| Shore transitions | Support both landings and coordinate abrasion protection, controlled bends and independent strain relief. |
| Water-level movement | Reserve service length within the specified bending and torsion limits; transfer mooring loads to the mechanical support system. |
| Phase routing and bonding | Coordinate the separate single-core phase routes, concentric-earth terminations and bonding design. |
| Thermal and current selection | Apply the listed current values only with their stated installation and ambient reference; assess the actual water route separately. |
| Entry fit | Match the selected diameter range, cable mass and termination envelope to the landing hardware and gland. |
| Water compatibility | Specify the actual water medium, immersion conditions and contaminant exposure. |
