UL 10503 PFA Equipment Wire, 250°C 600V

UL 10503 wire selection
UL 10503 is a UL-certified PFA wire rated 250°C and 600 V AC for internal equipment wiring. The listed configurations extend from 30 AWG to 10 AWG, allowing the same product page to support both small connection leads and larger conductor selections.
The insulation wall changes within the table: 18–30 AWG rows use a nominal 0.20 mm wall, while 10–16 AWG rows use 0.30 mm. Each row also identifies stranding, conductor diameter, minimum wall, finished diameter and conductor resistance at 20°C. Keeping the model and AWG together makes it easier to specify the intended configuration when requesting a replacement or comparing harness drawings.
Review conductor size, wall thickness and finished diameter together before changing an existing PFA lead. A larger conductor can change the entry clearance and terminal geometry as well as the electrical characteristics. Where a small-gauge alternative is being considered, compare the exact style marking and conductor construction; a shared 600 V and 250°C rating does not make two products dimensionally identical.

Selecting the specified construction
State UL 10503, AWG and solid or stranded construction on the enquiry. Check the conductor finish, finished diameter and strip dimensions before substituting another PFA style.
For tight-clearance connections, use the agreed finished-diameter drawing: nominal conductor diameter and nominal wall values in the table do not always sum exactly to the listed outside diameter.
