Festoonflex PUR-HF Cable 0.6/1 kV for Cranes and Moving Equipment
Festoonflex PUR-HF 0.6/1 kV cable for crane festoons, trolleys and cable chains, with Class 5 copper, PUR-HF sheath and screened C-PUR-HF option. Request a technical quote.
Festoonflex PUR-HF cable is a 0.6/1 kV flexible power, control and paired-signal cable family for crane festoons, trolleys, cable chains, conveyors and guided moving equipment. Fine-stranded Class 5 copper, polyester-based insulation, a textile self-support layer and a black PUR-HF outer sheath are arranged for frequent bending and combined tensile and torsional duty. A screened C-PUR-HF version is available when an overall tinned-copper braid is required for EMC control.
The supplied data references 6 x cable-OD minimum bend radius, ±25 deg/m torsion, 15 N/mm² conductor tensile stress, 60 m/min random reeling and up to 210 m/min in festoon or chain service. Temperature references are -50 to +80 °C fixed and -40 to +80 °C moving. Confirm the exact core/pair layout, screen coverage, route, support length, speed and water or immersion condition before selection; those inputs determine whether the PUR-HF, screened C-PUR-HF or another reeling design is suitable.
Selection should distinguish festoon, chain, random-reel and screened EMC duties. A cable that fits the voltage may still be unsuitable if the route, support length, torsion, speed or bending cycle is outside the quoted construction.
Construction
- Fine-stranded plain copper conductors, Class 5 reference.
- Halogen-free polyester-based insulation and textile self-support layer.
- Black PUR-HF outer sheath.
- Screened C-PUR-HF option with approximately 85% tinned-copper braid over a PUR inner sheath.
- Core identification and pair layout depend on the selected cable build.
The PUR-HF family is arranged for repeated bending in guided moving routes. The screened option is selected when the drive or control system requires an overall EMC screen.
Applications
- Crane festoon trolleys and material-handling equipment.
- Cable chains, drag chains, conveyors and machine tools.
- Power, control and paired-signal routes in dry, damp, wet or outdoor service where the offered construction permits.
- Screened C-PUR-HF circuits near drives or power cables.
Confirm route geometry, support length, movement frequency, speed, torsion, environment and any immersion requirement before selection. For vertical basket service, use the dedicated basket page rather than a general festoon build.
