Product overview

NTSFLCGEWOEU flat reeling cable supplies medium-voltage power to movable machinery where the cable follows a controlled, one-plane bending path. The flat geometry is intended for monospiral reels and guide systems with limited installation height.

Flexible Class 5 copper conductors, EPR-based medium-voltage insulation and an abrasion-resistant rubber sheath support repeated movement in outdoor and industrial environments. Standard voltage classes are 3.6/6 kV, 6/10 kV and 8.7/15 kV. Travel speed is up to 120 m/min, tensile loading up to 15 N/mm², and the minimum bending diameter is 1.5 x the cable height. WGF-D configurations incorporate fibre-optic elements where power and data must share the same moving route. This geometry keeps the cable stable across the reel face.

Applications include stackers, reclaimers and horizontal material-handling machines, including routes exposed to urea or sulphur handling areas. The guide system must maintain one-plane bending; twisting, S-shaped direction changes and multi-plane travel require a round reeling cable. Specify voltage, power-core size, flat cable width and height, fibre count, bend path, speed, tensile load and installed length.

One-Plane Bending

Clamps, guides and reel flanges must keep the cable flat throughout its travel. Out-of-plane twisting transfers stress into the insulated power cores and fibre elements.

Applications

Applications

  • Monospiral medium-voltage reel systems.
  • Stackers and reclaimers.
  • Horizontal material-handling machinery.
  • Restricted-height guides requiring flat cable geometry.
  • Combined moving power and fibre-optic data transmission.
