FHLR2GCB2G Shielded EV Cable 0.6/1 kV
Single-core screened EV powertrain cable with Class 6 copper, silicone insulation and sheath, aluminium-PET foil and a tinned-copper braid. Orange 0.6/1 kV construction.
FHLR2GCB2G is a single-core shielded cable for electric-vehicle powertrain connections. The 0.6/1 kV construction combines Class 6 flexible copper, silicone-rubber insulation, a foil-and-braid screen and an orange silicone outer sheath.
The metallic screen provides a defined shielding layer around the insulated power conductor. Its effectiveness in the installed circuit also depends on the connector, screen termination and equipment bonding. Specify those connection details alongside conductor area when selecting a screened cable for an electric powertrain.
The size schedule covers 25–95 mm² and includes conductor diameter, insulation thickness, nominal overall diameter, weight and conductor resistance at 20°C. These parameters support connector-entry and routing checks. The minimum bend radius is three times the cable diameter for static installation and six times the diameter for dynamic installation. Capacitance and inductance are listed for each conductor size to support electrical layout and harness design.
Operation from -40°C to +180°C is specified on a 3000-hour basis, with short-term heat ageing at +205°C for 240 hours. For a TEBAOFLEX quotation, provide the conductor size, route, operating conditions, length and screen-termination arrangement. When comparing FHLR2GCB2G 0.6/1 kV shielded onboard EV powertrain cable with unshielded harness leads and external charging cords, evaluate these options: FHL2G 0.6/1kV Unshielded EV Powertrain Cable (0.6/1 kV unshielded silicone EV battery and motor cable where external metallic conduit provides EMI containment); H05BZ5-F / H07BZ5-F EV Charging Cable (300/500 V and 450/750 V halogen-free PUR external AC charging cord for vehicle-to-grid connection). Check EMC shielding coverage, continuous temperature rating, and routing bend radius.
Construction
The screen layers surround a single silicone-insulated power conductor. The illustration explains the copper conductor, silicone insulation, foil, braid and silicone sheath.

| Component | Material and construction |
|---|---|
| Conductor | Class 6 fine flexible stranded copper. |
| Insulation | Silicone rubber (SiR). |
| Braid screen | Tinned copper, minimum 85% coverage. |
| Foil screen | Aluminium-PET foil, minimum 20% overlap. |
| Outer sheath | Orange silicone rubber (SiR). |
Applications
FHLR2GCB2G serves screened high-voltage connections within electric and hybrid vehicle powertrain systems.

- Vehicle powertrain and electrical power-unit connections.
- Single-core harness routes requiring a metallic screen.
- Compact static routes and flexible installation within the stated bend-radius limits.
- Coordinate screen continuity and termination with the connector and equipment design.
