H05VVH6-F / H07VVH6-F Elevator Traveling Cable
H05VVH6-F 300/500 V and H07VVH6-F 450/750 V flat PVC elevator traveling cables for lift power, control and signal circuits. Class 5 copper, parallel cores, 10 x cable-thickness flexing radius and configurations from 0.75 to 95 mm². Request the correct part number for the core count, travel and suspended length.
H05VVH6-F and H07VVH6-F elevator traveling cables are flat, flexible PVC cables for power, control and signal connections between a lift car and fixed installation. Parallel Class 5 copper cores share one controlled bending plane, helping the cable travel smoothly in elevator shafts and other guided vertical routes.
Choose H05VVH6-F for 300/500 V circuits and H07VVH6-F for 450/750 V circuits. The supplied range covers 0.75 to 95 mm², four to 24 cores depending on conductor size, and a reference flexing bend radius of 10 times the cable thickness. H05 configurations are also referenced for freely suspended elevator lengths up to 45 m; the final suspension method, travel height and cable load still require engineering confirmation.
Typical uses include internal and panoramic elevators, airport travelators, guided festoon systems, overhead cranes and moving machinery. Select by voltage, conductor area, core count, cable dimensions, weight, travel speed, acceleration, bend path and required standards. For communication circuits requiring integrated network elements, compare the CAT6 elevator traveling cable. Send the existing cable marking or required circuit schedule for a technical quotation.
H05VVH6-F / H07VVH6-F Construction
The flat construction keeps the insulated cores in parallel so repeated travel occurs in the intended bending plane.

| Element | Supplied construction | Selection relevance |
|---|---|---|
| Conductor | Fine bare copper strands; Class 5 to VDE 0295 / IEC 60228 | Confirm conductor area, core count and circuit load. |
| Core insulation | PVC | Core identification follows VDE 0293 / HD 308, including protective-earth identification where required. |
| Core arrangement | Parallel flat lay-up | Install and bend only in the designed flat-cable plane. |
| Outer jacket | Black PVC, RAL 9005 reference | The supplied specification describes the jacket as extremely oil- and chemical-resistant. |
Final conductor stranding, width, thickness, mass, marking and any suspension element are defined by the selected part number and approved production drawing.
Applications
These flat traveling cables are intended for guided moving connections that need power and control conductors to flex together in one plane.

- Internal and panoramic elevator car power, control and signal circuits
- Airport travelators and moving walkways
- Guided festoon systems for overhead cranes
- Other moving machinery with a controlled flat-cable bending plane
The supplied application information references H05VVH6-F multiconductor builds from six to 24 cores and conductor sizes from 0.75 mm². H07VVH6-F is referenced from four cores and conductor sizes of 1.5 mm² and above. Availability varies by part number; use the Specifications table for the supplied combinations.
For elevator duty, provide the travel height, freely suspended length, speed, acceleration, bending path, attachment method and cable load. A reference of up to 45 m freely suspended length is stated for H05 elevator applications, but the offered construction must be checked for the actual installation.
