RXX / TRA-RF spreader vertical reeling cable is designed for motorized reels exposed to high hanging load, acceleration, torsion and continuous roller contact. Typical routes include port-crane spreaders, grab dredgers and other vertical moving equipment.

RXX uses a compact reinforced rubber double sheath, embedded anti-torsion braid and central support element. It operates at vertical reeling speeds up to 240 m/min with tensile loading up to 30 N/mm². TRA-RF uses a double polyurethane sheath, textile anti-twisting braid and a central elastomer support element reinforced with aramid ropes. It operates horizontally or vertically up to 200 m/min with the same 30 N/mm² tensile rating. Both families are rated 600/1000 V. Both variants separate axial load from conductor movement during repeated vertical acceleration and braking.

RXX suits the highest-speed vertical routes and wet-contact spreader or dredger duty. TRA-RF suits compact high-load systems that prioritize a wear-resistant PUR sheath. Specify spreader type, reel geometry, hanging length, cable weight, speed, acceleration, tensile demand, bend path, core schedule, water exposure and installed length with the enquiry.

Vertical Load Transfer

The central support element carries the hanging load while the braid controls torsion through the sheath. This protects the insulated conductors during rapid spreader acceleration and braking.
