(N)GFLCGÖU-J/O 0.6/1 kV Screened Rubber Flat Festoon & Reeling Cable
Heavy-duty 0.6/1 kV copper-screened elastomeric flat festoon and reeling cables ((N)GFLCGÖU-J with green/yellow earth core and (N)GFLCGÖU-O without earth core) engineered to DIN VDE 0250-809 for inverter-fed overhead cranes, container quay crane trolley festoons, electroplating hoists and flat-wrap drum reels. Combines Class 5/6 flexible copper conductors, +90 °C 3GI3 EPR core insulation, tinned-copper braided EMC phase/group screens and a flame- and oil-resistant 5GM3 polychloroprene rubber flat jacket.
While standard NGFLGÖU flat cables are rated 300/500 V without electromagnetic shielding, modern frequency-controlled crane hoists, trolley drives and automated material-handling gantries require a true 0.6/1 kV dielectric rating and low-impedance EMC screening. (N)GFLCGÖU-J/O 0.6/1 kV screened rubber flat cable is designed to DIN VDE 0250-809 to carry variable-frequency motor power and interference-free control signals in a single-plane flat profile.
In power configurations (4G2.5 mm² to 4G95 mm²), each +90 °C EPR-insulated power core is wrapped with a semiconductive smoothing layer and an individual tinned-copper wire braid screen (C), laid parallel in one flat row so the cable bends effortlessly around its thin axis to a minimum dynamic bending radius of 10 × cable thickness. In multi-core control and encoder configurations (5G1.5 mm² to 24G2.5 mm²), core groups or individual pairs are shielded with tinned-copper braid before flat vulcanization inside the heavy-duty 5GM3 polychloroprene (PCP) rubber outer sheath.
Jiangsu Tebaoflex Special Cable Co., Ltd. holds third-party verification of conformity (ICR, cert. ICR/VC/HTT260331) against the DIN VDE 0250 series based on EMC and LVD test reports XMT0202600330W/EMC and /LVD issued by Shanghai Ximo Testing Technology (2025-03-30).
Include the designation ((N)GFLCGÖU-J or -O), core count and cross-section, festoon trolley saddle radius and total loop length in your RFQ. TEBAOFLEX supplies custom lengths from a 50 m minimum order quantity with a standard lead time of 7–45 working days.

Construction
The representative construction illustrates (N)GFLCGÖU-J 0.6/1 kV 4G25 mm² Screened Rubber Flat Cable: four parallel Class 5 flexible tinned-copper cores arranged side by side in a single flat plane—three individually copper-braid-screened +90 °C EPR-insulated phase cores (brown, black, grey) and one green/yellow EPR-insulated protective earth core—moulded and vulcanized inside a heavy-duty black 5GM3 flame-retardant and oil-resistant polychloroprene flat elastomer jacket.

| Component | Material and construction |
|---|---|
| Conductors | Extra-flexible Class 5 (or Class 6 super-fine on request) stranded bare or tinned copper conductors per DIN EN 60228 / VDE 0295 (1.5 mm² to 95 mm²). |
| Core insulation | Ozone- and heat-resistant ethylene-propylene rubber (EPR compound 3GI3 per DIN VDE 0207-20) rated for +90 °C continuous conductor temperature. |
| Copper braid screen (C) | Power sizes (4G2.5–4G95): individual tinned-copper wire braid screen over each power core (≥ 80% optical coverage). Control sizes (5G–24G): tinned-copper braid screen over each core bundle or individual core. |
| Parallel flat core arrangement | Cores or screened bundles aligned side by side in a single horizontal plane with elastomeric web bridges to eliminate inter-core torsion during tight trolley bending. |
| Outer flat sheath | Heavy-duty black polychloroprene rubber (PCP compound 5GM3 per DIN VDE 0207-21), vulcanized around the parallel cores, flame-retardant (IEC 60332-1-2) and oil-resistant (EN 60811-404). |
