Servo Encoder Feedback Cable – Screened PUR Types
Screened PUR feedback cables connect encoders, resolvers and pulse generators to industrial servo controls. Choose Feedback-CP, Feedback-CP(I) or SL 803 C by signal arrangement, voltage and movement requirements.
A servo encoder feedback cable carries position, speed or resolver signals between a motor feedback device and its controller. These screened PUR constructions combine flexible copper conductors with signal cores or twisted pairs. Select Feedback-CP, Feedback-CP(I) or SL 803 C to match the feedback circuit and installation route.
Feedback-CP uses polypropylene insulation and a green PUR sheath, with a 300 V peak operating voltage. Feedback-CP(I) uses TPE insulation and an orange PUR sheath, rated 300/300 V. Both constructions use an overall tinned copper braid and suit machine tools and cable chains under medium mechanical stress. SL 803 C uses polypropylene insulation, a grey PUR sheath and configuration-specific screening for incremental transmission and related feedback connections; its listed nominal voltage is 250 V.
The three size tables preserve each signal arrangement, including mixed conductor areas and screened groups. Match the number of pairs, auxiliary cores and individual screens to the equipment circuit before selecting the outside diameter. The shield termination and connector pin assignment should follow the drive and feedback-device requirements.
For a TEBAOFLEX quotation, provide the required configuration, cable length, feedback device, connector or pinout drawing and installation method. For moving service, include the bending radius, travel, speed and cycle requirement. Use the related servo power and control cable pages when the same machine also requires a separate motor supply connection.

When pairing screened PUR servo encoder feedback cables with motor power or control leads inside dynamic drag chains, compare these servo cable constructions: SERVO 55700 / 60700 CY Composite Servo Cable (composite servo cable integrating main motor power cores and individually screened brake/control pairs); FD 300/500 V PUR Servo Control Cable (300/500 V PUR continuous-flex control cable for auxiliary actuator and sensor loops in cable tracks). Match minimum bend radius, travel acceleration, and tinned-copper braid coverage across all drag-chain lines.
Construction
All three families use bare copper conductors and a PUR outer sheath. Insulation, core grouping and local screens vary with the selected configuration. The illustration represents SL 803 C 3×(2×0.14C)+2×1: three screened signal pairs and two larger auxiliary cores under an overall braid.

| Component | Material and construction |
|---|---|
| Conductors | Extra-finely stranded bare copper, Class 6 to IEC 60228 / DIN EN 60228. Signal and auxiliary conductor areas follow the selected size-table row. |
| Feedback-CP insulation and sheath | Polypropylene (PP) core insulation; green PUR outer sheath, RAL 6018. |
| Feedback-CP(I) insulation and sheath | Thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) core insulation; orange PUR outer sheath, RAL 2003. |
| Feedback-CP / CP(I) overall screen | Tinned copper braid with approximately 85% coverage. Local screened groups are selected by the specified signal configuration. |
| SL 803 C insulation and screening | PP core insulation; plastic-laminated aluminium foil and braided screening in the specified groups, with an overall tinned copper braid. |
| SL 803 C sheath | Grey polyurethane (PUR), oil-, abrasion- and UV-resistant. |
| Core identification | SL 803 C identification follows DIN 47100. Feedback-CP and CP(I) core colours follow the specified feedback circuit drawing. |

All conductor areas in the size tables are in mm². For example, 3×(2×0.14C)+2×1 contains three screened signal pairs and two additional 1 mm² cores.
C and D suffixes preserve the screened-group designation in the corresponding configuration. Specify the complete configuration and feedback circuit drawing when ordering.
Feedback-CP peak voltage, CP(I) rated U₀/U and SL 803 C nominal voltage are different voltage descriptions and apply only to the named construction.
D in bend-radius expressions means the cable outside diameter. Cable-chain life depends on the actual radius, stroke, speed, acceleration and installation.
Outside diameters, copper figures and weights are approximate selection data; the quotation identifies the supplied configuration and length.
