Product overview

Mine Feeder Type 1 cable for screened machine wiring

Mine Feeder Type 1 cable is a 1.1/1.1 kV PVC-insulated and PVC-covered screened machine cable in the supplied AS/NZS 1972 datasheet. The source describes individually screened and collectively screened configurations for mobile equipment such as continuous miners, shuttle cars, road headers and personnel transporters. It also identifies interconnection between control boxes and motors as a use case.

This is a different procurement path from the higher-voltage AS/NZS 2802 surface trailing families. The construction uses tinned annealed copper, heat-resistant V-90 PVC insulation, a tinned copper wire and polyester yarn composite braid screen, and a heat-resistant 5V-90 PVC cover. The electrical and dimensions/mass tables separate individual and collective screening, so the screening choice must be carried into the cable schedule and termination plan.

The datasheet says further mechanical protection is required for external non-protected installations. Confirm the actual duct, machine enclosure, control interface, conductor area, core count and length before requesting a quotation. Current capacity and mechanical limits should come from the project design rather than a generic Type 1 label.

Construction

Mine Feeder Type 1 PVC screened construction

Mine Feeder Type 1 is built around heat-resistant PVC materials and offers individual or collective screening. The two arrangements are retained in separate source tables so the electrical and dimensional selection remains explicit.

Applications

Mine Feeder Type 1 machine applications

The source language is machine-focused rather than reel-focused. It names underground mobile equipment and ducted machine wiring, with a specific protection warning for external non-protected routes.

  • Continuous miners, shuttle cars and road headers
  • Personnel transporters and machine control-box/motor interconnection
  • Ducted machine installations using the selected core count and screen arrangement
  • External non-protected installations only with the further mechanical protection stated by the source

Confirm the enclosure, duct, entry protection, screen termination and core count before ordering. The source does not add an oil, UV or general outdoor suitability claim.

Mine Feeder Type 1 Screened Machine Cable 1.1/1.1 kV technical data

The dimensional and electrical values below are transcribed from the supplied PDF for Mine Feeder Type 1 cable. The tables are retained by voltage, screen option or construction section as presented in the source. Source ordering codes are included where present in the extracted table; blank source cells are not assigned new values.

Use the relevant area, conductor dimensions, insulation or covering thickness, nominal diameter and mass together. The source does not create a universal current-capacity, bend-radius, pulling-load or travel-speed value for this product.
