Cable Construction
- Conductors: Annealed tin-coated rope stranded conductors manufactured in accordance with ICEA and ASTM requirements.
- Insulation: Ethylene-propylene rubber insulation extruded over each conductor.
- Circuit identification: Power conductors are color coded black, white and green according to ICEA S-75-381.
- Assembly: Three insulated power conductors are cabled together with a left-hand lay.
- Filler: Cured rubber filler is placed in each valley to support round cable shape and jacket integrity.
- Jacket: Reinforced CPE jacket is extruded over the assembly for mechanical protection and permanent surface marking.
