Subsea Electro-Hydraulic & Electro-Optical Hybrid Umbilical Cable (OMB Series — 16OMB4 to 35OMB22)
Custom-engineered subsea electro-hydraulic and electro-optical-hydraulic hybrid umbilical cables (16OMB4, 16OMB6, 16OMB11, 19OMB40, 26OMB38, 27OMB24, 35OMB22 and REF 58361 / 45981 / 56769) combining 70–350 bar thermoplastic hydraulic hoses (3/16" to 1"), 250 V–1 kV power conductors, individually shielded instrumentation pairs/quads, 50/75 Ω video coax and stainless-steel loose-tube optical fibers inside LCP, Vectran or aramid braided hydrolysis-resistant PUR jackets.
Subsea work-class machinery, blowout preventer (BOP) intervention skids, underwater welding habitats and subsea tree valve control systems require a single integrated line that delivers high-pressure hydraulic fluid alongside electrical power, control telemetry and optical or video feedback. The OMB and REF series subsea electro-hydraulic hybrid umbilical cables consolidate 70 bar to 350 bar reinforced thermoplastic hoses (3/16", 3/8", 1/2" and 1" ID) with 250 V to 0.6/1 kV power conductors, shielded twisted pairs, star quads, 50/75 Ω coaxial cores and stainless-steel tube optical fibers.
Depending on operational depth and submerged weight targets, each hybrid bundle is cabled with marine-grade syntactic or polyethylene fillers, wrapped in low-friction PTFE tape, bedded in an inner polyurethane or thermoplastic elastomer sheath and armoured with a high-tenacity LCP (liquid-crystal polymer), Vectran or aramid fiber braid. Tensile breaking strengths span from 1,000 daN (10 kN) on multi-hose deck-to-subsea jumpers up to 6,000–18,000 daN (60–180 kN) on deepwater dynamic winched umbilicals.
Low-density core designs such as 16OMB6 (-140 kg/km in seawater) and 19OMB40 (-377 kg/km in seawater) provide slight positive buoyancy to prevent seabed snagging, while high-power models like 26OMB38 (with 16 multimode fibers in stainless-steel tubes plus 4×10 mm² power) and 35OMB22 (32×2.5 mm² XLPE quads plus 3×1/2" 350 bar hoses) maintain controlled negative buoyancy for vertical deployment.
Specify the model designation, hydraulic hose internal diameter and working pressure, electrical/optical core count, submerged weight target and required length with your RFQ. TEBAOFLEX manufactures subsea electro-hydraulic hybrid umbilical cables from a 50 m minimum order quantity with a lead time of 7–45 working days.

Verify thermoplastic hose working pressure, collapse resistance, and electrical core insulation rating.
Construction
The representative construction illustrates the 26OMB38 & 16OMB11 Subsea Electro-Optical-Hydraulic Hybrid Umbilical architecture: central and interstitial high-pressure 1/2" thermoplastic hydraulic hoses (140–210 bar working pressure) cabled with 0.6/1 kV Class 5/6 copper power sub-cables, individually foil- or copper-braid-screened signal pairs/quads and stainless-steel loose-tube optical fiber units, low-friction PTFE binder tapes, inner PUR bedding, contra-helical LCP/Vectran fiber strength braid and a heavy-duty orange, yellow or black hydrolysis- and UV-resistant polyurethane outer sheath.
